You are invited to take part in the First Ever Travelling Blues 4 Life Fundraiser in support of the Relay For Life of Second Life.
Blues For Life is in its 5th year and the Relay Rockers are expanding the event to all Blues DJ’s in Second Life.
Blues For Life, sponsored by the Relay Rockers team is a fundraiser to help fight cancer.
WHERE & WHEN
The event is held at the location of your choosing.
Simply select one of your regularly scheduled blues sets between February 21 and June 1, 2021.
HOW DO I FUNDRAISE
Instead of rezzing a tip jar, you rez a Relay Rockers Relay For Life Team Kiosk.
The Rockers provide the Kiosk, posters and additional advertising.
WHY PARTICIPATE
Introduce yourself, and the venue, to more than relay 3000 members of the Relay For Life community.
Introduce your group members and fans to this life saving and life changing cancer fighting community.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION
Do I need permission from my venue?
We suggest you clear the event with your venue owner / management before signing up.
Will I need a special group tag?
No! You will be invited to a special Discord server once you’re signed up.
What about host and venue tip jars?
While we encourage the use of ONLY the RFL Kiosk, your host’s and venue’s tip jars can still be out.
I don’t know a lot about Relay For Life or the American Cancer Society.
We will provide you with some talkIng points that you can use during your set. We do request you use ONLY information provided by the Relay Rockers or from http://www.cancer.org
I don’t know how to set up a Relay Kiosk?
We will provide step by step directions to configuring a kiosk, and a team member will be available to help out.
