Hey there. I am Midnight Cowboy, aka DJ Freaky Zepp.
I am a DJ and Club Manager
I do a lot of Drag Racing I’m a very friendly and out going person.
I full heartily support Relay For Life RL and SL the reason why is Both my Parents and Grandmother Passed away from Cancer in 2005.
You can find Freaky at RelayStock helping teams set up and keeping the event running smoothly.
I’ve been part of the Relay Rockers team since 2006. I started relaying because a distant family member passed away from breast cancer, but I really didn’t experience what she had gone through. It became more personal the year that Trader had to undergo treatment, and I saw what he went through first hand. It was tough, and I was relieved when I found out he was going to be ok. During the survivor’s lap at relay that year, I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when Trader approached the Rockers’ team site because it had been an emotional year, so I did both and also rode a dancing cow (for reasons). Since then, I’ve had many more Second Life and Relay friends face the fight against cancer and some very dear to me have been lost. Until there is a cure, I’ll be relaying for every person who has heard the words “You have cancer.”
What a great year for the Rockers. We did our thing that we always do to the tune of $7,762 US. We Rocked The Relay!
Our year was laid back, stress free, and full of great team work. We all had input on the campsite build and it turned out fantastic!
The Relay Rockers were presented with the Gordy Klatt Award.
“”In memory of his pioneering spirit and steadfast dedication to Relay For Life, the Dr. Gordy Klatt award goes to an individual / team / group who has demonstrated the level of commitment and dedication to the cause…. who has put the big picture ahead of their own interest, and whose footpring and legacy will always be a part of the Relay For Life of Second Life story. “
This means more than any amount of money we have raised over the years. It is never about being top in fundraising for us. Our team members know that. It has always been about doing the best we can, giving all we can. The Gordy Klatt Award recognizes that! It recognizes the lasting impressions we have left on Relay For Life of Second Life over the years. It recognizes all our team members! This one is THE ONE that tops it all!
And we had a few more awards this year too!

As the 2018 Relay For Life season approaches, the Relay Rockers are pleased to announce they will once again sponsor RelayStock on May 4, 5 and 6th.
RelayStock is a multi-team fun weekend set on a full region. The event remains on of the most popular events and has host 100s of teams since it began in 2014.
Relayers are transported to a Catskills farm complete with outdoor concert stage, 60s VW buses and Tie Dyed Tents. Entertainment is provided by The Rockers and teams are invited to host their own times on the main stage. This year’s plans includes live performers and DJs and is sponsored by T1Radio.
Rockers co-captain Trader Whiplash explains, “RelayStock began as a team event in support of our CRFB Top DJ Competition. As one of RFL’s most successful teams we wanted to show our appreciation by providing a fun event, bringing all of our Relay community together as one.”
The Relay Rockers estimate that the event has helped all teams raise more than L$5,000,000 combined since 2014. The team looks forward to once again providing “Three Days of Peace Love and Hope”
